Giuseppe Antoci appointed Ambassador of the United States of the World
On Wednesday 31 May 2023, at 4 p.m., at the Headquarters in Naples, a ceremony was held to designate Dr. Giuseppe Antoci, former President of the Nebrodi Park, Officer of Merit of the Italian Republic, as "AMBASSADOR OF THE UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD".
The International Committee of the "United States of the World", at its plenary session held in Marrakech on 17 May 2023, designated Dr Antoci "for his commitment to the defence of legality and the fight against mafia phenomena".
Among the "Ambassadors of the World" designated since 1994 are Francois Mitterand, Helmut Khol, Shimon Peres, Abu Mazen, Anibal Cavaco Silva, i premi Nobel Naguib Mahfouz and Shirine Ebadi, Mohamed-El Aziz Ben Achour, Patrizio Bianchi, Moez Sinaoui, Jean-Paul Seytre, Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, Mana Saeed Alotaiba and many others.
The title of "Ambassador of the United States of the World" was handed over by Secretary General Prof. Michele Capasso, in the presence of Dr. Maria Pia Balducci Molinari, a member of the institution's Board of Directors.
