food, water - sustainability
The United States of the World is committed to ensuring that water and food are at the centre of sustainable development because they are essential for socio-economic development and the survival of all mankind ...
and works to ensure that people use them responsibly, so as not to overwhelm other human beings and the environment, for the benefit of future generations.
With the "Earth not War" programme since 1990, many initiatives have been undertaken at the international level aimed at identifying useful and sustainable innovations: in particular, since 1992, "World Water Appeals" have been presented and annual "World Water Days" have been organised at the Naples headquarters, in collaboration with the United Nations and other international bodies; the primary objective is to help promote concrete actions in individual countries to safeguard water resources.
