Jean-Paul Seytre appointedd Ambassador of the United States of the World
On Monday 27 February 2023, at 11 a.m., at the headquarters of the French Embassy in Montevideo (Uruguay), the ceremony was held to designate Jean-Paul Seytre, Ambassador of the French Republic to Uruguay, as "AMBASSADOR OF THE UNITED STATES OF THE WORLD".
The International Committee of the "United States of the World", at its plenary session held in Naples on 18 November 2022, designated Ambassador Seytre for his commitment to safeguarding the earth and building peace.
Among the 'Ambassadors of the World' designated since 1994 are Francois Mitterand, Helmut Khol, Shimon Peres, Abu Mazen, Anibal Cavaco Silva, Nobel laureates Naguib Mahfouz and Shirine Ebadi, Mohamed-El Aziz Ben Achour, Patrizio Bianchi, Moez Sinaoui, Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and many others.
The title of 'Ambassador of the United States of the World' was presented to Ambassador Seytre by Professor Caterina Arcidiacono, founding member and delegate of the Secretary General.
