Appeal for Gaza
Secretary General Michele Capasso and other members of the United States of the World launched, in connection with Gaza, yet another appeal for a truce and for respect for the lives of civilians who are dying of hunger and thirst.
On this occasion, the 1981 end-of-year speech by the then President of the Republic Sandro Pertini was recalled, who wisely anticipated the "Two Peoples in Two States" solution, as well as the writings of lawyer Gerardo Marotta in defence of the Palestinian people written at the headquarters of the United States of the World in April 2013.
