King Felipe VI of Spain receives the Mediterranean Award 2025

The international juries of the 181 countries of the United States of the World, gathered in Fez - present, among others, Miguel Angel Moratinos - awarded King Felipe VI of Spain the Mediterranean Award 2025.
The Secretary-General Michele Capasso recalled from Morocco the long-standing friendship with the Spanish sovereign, who from the very beginning supported the activities of the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the United States of the World by speaking in Naples at the first Euromed Forum, on 12 December 1997, exactly 27 years ago. The United States of the World project started from that meeting.
