Secretary-General Michele Capasso had a meeting with Miguel Angel Moratinos, High Representative of the United Nations Alliance of Civilisations (UNAOC).
On this occasion, the main stages of a friendship spanning more than 30 years were retraced and the world geopolitical situation was examined.
In conclusion, it was agreed to activate collaborations between the ‘United States of the World’ and the United Nations (UNAOC), especially to bring the word ‘Peace’ back to the centre of the political-institutional debate and in international fora: the hypothesis is to jointly organise a major world conference on the theme of PEACE.
