Appeal for Peace in Gaza

On his return from the Strip, Secretary-General Michele Capasso made a heartfelt appeal to the world's leaders to stop an intolerable slaughter: 500 innocent people, including many children, have fallen under Israeli missiles.
"It is atrocious what is happening, intolerable, Capasso told international news agencies, and I have no difficulty, contravening my institutional responsibility, in stating that the Israeli premier is indeed a war criminal".
