Presentation of the book "Raffaele, the Mayor" by Michele Capasso
The presentation of the book by Michele Capasso entitled "Raffaele, the Mayor" (Edition San Paolo) was held at the headquarters of the United States of the World and the Museum of Peace - MAMT.
The book is dedicated to the figure of Raffaele Capasso, mayor of San Sebastiano al Vesuvio for 35 years and architect of the reconstruction of the town destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in March 1944.
Large audience participation: speakers included the prefect of Naples di Bari, the mayor of Naples Manfredi, Senator Lumia, Professor Pica Ciamarra and many others. Pietro Perone, editor-in-chief of "Il Mattino", coordinated the event.
During the event, the docufilm "Raffaele, the Mayor" was screened.
