After 15 months of siege and bombardment by Israeli forces, following attacks by Palestinian armed groups in Israel on 7 October 2023, the Government of Israel and Hamas finally reached an agreement: a ceasefire of hostilities in Gaza.
The "United States of the World" is relieved at this agreement reached, albeit a fragile one, but nevertheless a turning point towards the peace, protection and justice that innocent men, women and children deserve after these endless months of violence.
The pause in hostilities in Gaza will protect everyone, especially children, from the bombs for as long as the truce lasts, but this, says Secretary-General Michele Capasso, must be transformed into a definitive ceasefire and a rapid increase in humanitarian aid, especially to children, to tackle malnutrition and disease.

Two hundred students from various schools in Campania gathered at the headquarters of the "United States of the World" for the "Italian Model United Nation" meeting, organised by the United Network Association under the patronage of the "United States of the World" and in collaboration with the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Museum of Peace - MAMT .
