The G7 and the World rebuilding bridges

A delegation from the United States of the World and the Fondazione Mediterraneo attended the event organised by ISPI, IAI and MAECI (G7) at the Luiss University.
On this occasion, President Michele Capasso recalled the meeting with Ambassador Giampaolo Cutillo in Baku on the occasion of the presentation of the "United States of the World" at the 8th United Nations Global Forum.

Representatives of the Dominican Republic to the United States of the World

Representatives of the Dominican Republic, Dominicans in Italy and Europe, members of the consular corps and representatives of INDEX - the Institute of Dominicans and Dominican Women Abroad led by its representative in Italy, Julio Cesar Garden Regalado - met at the Naples headquarters of the United States of the World to discuss the new elections scheduled in the Caribbean country. Present were candidates and representatives of the Neapolitan, Campania and Italian communities of Dominicans abroad.
Secretary General Michele Capasso welcomed the pride and sense of belonging of the people of the Dominican Republic and the activities of President Luis Abinader.
On this occasion, he presented the official flag of the United States of the World.

The Dominican Republic is the 182nd country to join the United States of the World

In a ceremony held at the Naples headquarters of the United States of the World, it was agreed that the Dominican Republic would join the United States of the World, making it the 182nd country to have joined since 1987, the year the international body began its activities.
On this occasion, Julio Cesar Garden Regalado, the representative in Italy of INDEX - the Institute of Dominicans and Dominican Women Abroad - handed over the official flag of the Dominican Republic, recounting its fascinating history: the colours, the cross, the Bible inside, and so on.
Secretary General Michele Capasso was delighted with the pride and sense of belonging of the Dominican Republic's inhabitants and invited President Luis Abinader to visit the headquarters in Naples.
On this occasion, he presented the official flag of the United States of the World, receiving objects representative of the Caribbean country that will enrich the Museum of Peace.

Jordan protagonist for peace

The King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Abdullah Il, is visiting Rome to analyse the difficult situation in the Middle East. 
After meeting with President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinale, he was received by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
The President and the Sovereign discussed the situation in the Middle East and hoped that the ongoing diplomatic efforts for a sustainable ceasefire and the release of prisoners, in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2728, would soon be successful.
The two Leaders focused on the humanitarian situation: President Meloni expressed strong appreciation for the crucial role played by Jordan in this area and reiterated Italy's commitment to provide humanitarian assistance to the civilian population of Gaza, also in cooperation with Jordan.
Recalling the G7 Leaders' Declaration of 14 April, President Meloni reiterated the need to continue working on de-escalation at the regional level. The two Leaders also discussed the excellent bilateral relations that continue to develop in all areas.
President Capasso, on this occasion, recalled the long-standing friendship with Jordan, with the late King Hussein Bin Talal and the current Sovereigns, and the fundamental role that the Hashemite Kingdom plays in the peace process, especially at this difficult time in world history.
