The President of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, Giovanni Cannata appointed Ambassador of the United States of the World

The President of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, Professor Giovanni Cannata,  has been appointed "Ambassador" of the "United States of the World".
The ceremony took place in Pescasseroli at the Park's headquarters, attended by Park Director Luciano Sammarone, presidents of other National Parks, Directors General of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, the mayor of Pescasseroli Giuseppe Sipari and members of the United States of the World such as Professor Giuseppe D'Antonio and Dr. Ferdinando Della Gatta.
Many young people attended the event.
On this occasion, a film on the history of the United States of the World was shown.
The award was presented by the Secretary General Professor Michele Capasso and the Chairman of the International Committee Professor Massimo Pica Ciamarra who gave the presentation by Professor Cannata.

Minister Patrizio Bianchi receives the Mediterranean Award for Education for Sustainability

Professor Patrizio Bianchi - Minister of Education of the Republic of Italy - received the "Mediterranean Award for Education for Sustainability - 2022."
The ceremony was held in Pescasseroli in the presence of political, institutional, religious and military authorities and - above all - many schoolchildren.
"I am honored for this Award that I share with all those who have supported me in affirming education for sustainability as a fundamental pillar for the future of young people. I share and support the program dedicated to the ecological conversion of the United States of the World: an action that with great foresight was undertaken in the early 1990s of the last century when few were calling attention to the urgency of safeguarding the planet," said Minister Bianchi upon receiving the award from Secretary General Michele Capasso.

Patrizio Bianchi is appointed SUM Ambassador

Professor Patrizio Bianchi - Minister of Education of the Italian Republic - was appointed "Ambassador of the United States of the World".
The ceremony took place in Pescasseroli in the presence of political, institutional, religious and military authorities and - above all - many school students.
"I am honoured by this recognition and I am committed to supporting and spreading the noble message of the United States of the World, which is needed today more than ever," said Minister Bianchi as he received the award from the hands of Secretary General Michele Capasso and other members of the United States of the World.

To the Municipality of Pescasseroli the Flag of the United States of the World

On the occasion of the centenary of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park - 9.09.1922/9.09.2022 - a ceremony was held in the municipality of Pescasseroli to present the official flag of the "United States of the World".
Secretary General Michele Capasso - accompanied by International Committee Chairman Massimo Pica Ciamarra, Sustainability Committee Chairman Giuseppe D'Antonio, and member Ferdinando Della Gatta - presented the flag to Pescasseroli Mayor Giuseppe Sipari, who expressed thanks and pride for the consideration.

In the Naples headquarters of the United States of the World and the Museum of Peace - MAMT the celebrations for the centenary of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park

The Museum of Peace - MAMT hosted students from various institutions and young environmentalists for two days to celebrate the centenary of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.
Ideally twinned with Pescasseroli where-present among others were President Michele Capasso, Education Minister Patrizio Bianchi, Park President Giovanni Cannata, and Director Luciano Sammarone - young students from various schools upheld the value of the earth and creation and the importance of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.
