Pope Francis travelled to Bahrain to participate in the "Bahrain Forum for Dialogue: east and west for human coexistence".
A delegation from the "United States of the World" attended the event.
Secretary General Prof. Michele Capasso underlined the importance of the action of the United States of the World for dialogue and human coexistence, and recalled the relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain with institutional visits to its headquarters in Naples.

A day was held at the institutional headquarters of the United States of the World to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Igor Man: a great journalist, president of the International Committee of the United States of the World from 1995 to 1997 and recipient of the "Mediterranean Information Award 2002".
Secretary General Michele Capasso, moved, remembered his friend and the critical but convinced supporter of the "United States of the World" who warned against the mediocrity of the world political class.
Videos, images, writings and interviews accompanied various moments of the meeting, recalling the work of a great correspondent who knew how to tell and explain the Arab - Islamic world in particular.

The centenary of the birth of Sister Maria Pia Giudici was celebrated in the headquarters of the "United States of the World". The Secretary General Michele Capasso recalled the long fraternal friendship with Sister Maria Pia and her convinced support for the action of the "United States of the World", dedicated especially to the Earth, to Peace and to young people.
